
Sheep are for sale only because we wish to promote the breed throughout the UK and of course do not have the land to keep everything we produce. We are keeping all of the ewe lambs OUT of the ewes shwon for sale.
40 x "1 crop" Texel/mule ewes. & 10 F/M Texel and Continental Type ewes
All MV accredited.


These ewes have been treated on a near Organic basis. They should go on and do well ANYWHERE.
Suitable as recipient ewes.

40 DORPER x North or England MULE "1 Crop" ewes
First cross Dorper with most breeds will be black; but with the Mule cross a high percentage of second crosses are the normal Dorper coloring and even the lambs appear to show signs of shedding at four months of age.


Some of these ewes were clear of belly and neck wool by shearing in July 2008


These ewes have been treated on a near Organic basis. They should go on and do well ANYWHERE.

17 DORPER x Wiltshire ewes
100% shedding from the first cross. All first crosses solid black or heavy patchwork quilt colour. Second cross can be Dorper colored.

NOT FOR SALE: Born 2006 late may/june, sired by our Guy out of shetland and shetland x suffolk/texel ewes, 10 of which were put to the tup in March 2008, and successfully lambed in August 2008; unaided, without extra food, producing plenty of milk, and the lambs are thriving. Shedding of fleece should occur from the second generation, Some first cross Dorper/ Shetlands shed 60% fleece as shearlings. But most will require shearing and some or the second generation too. |
